Pretty Pink Princesses=Negative Consequences

     Imagine you are a little girl. You really want that new Barbie with the pink floor length gown. Your Mom says,"No." So, you throw a fit. You think: Why can't I get the one thing I want when Disney Princesses get whatever they want. Back to reality. These scenarios actually do happen. Little girls believe just because Disney Princesses dreams come true or Barbie gets her dream house they are entitled to whatever they want. Unfortunately for those little girls, that's not how real life is. In reality, you need to earn what you want or you need to behave to get it. Also, little girls often only play with toys or own something if it is pink. Scientists believe being a girly-girl at such a young age could be rather dangerous.
     In my opinion, I think that it would be fine for a little girl to be girly. But, they most definitely should have there limits. It is not right to just give your daughter a Barbie-or anything else for that matter for no reason. It's not right that Disney Princesses or Barbies can get whatever they want. Sure in all the Disney movies something bad happens in the beginning, but then everything is alright and the girl is now a princess. There is an exception for a holiday present, but otherwise have your limits.
